Tim and Lisa Brotherhood and their family left the Elephant and Castle Thurlaston, on the 9th May. They have made this pub into one of the favourite venues in the Branch area, and have collected several awards there during their tenure, including Branch POTY in 2010, and 'Pub of the Month' in December 2009.

Lisa's pies have gained widespread fame and the welcome they extended, together with their enthusiastic embracing of CAMRA and Beer Festivals, will mean that their successors will find the standard ('the bar?') set at a high level.

The April Branch Meeting provided the opportunity to say farewell to Tim and Lisa, and for the presentation of a certificate to mark their eight years in charge.

The new incumbents are Ady and Karen from Fleckney.
