Hinckley & Bosworth CAMRA 'Pub of the Month' Award
Although it is called the 'Pub of the Month' (PotM) Award, it is not usually awarded every month.
How it works:
Any member can nominate a pub, in our area, for the award. This nomination is announced at the next Monthly Meeting, members then have a month to visit the pub & assess it for themselves. A vote is then taken at the next Monthly Meeting and, if successful, the pub is awarded PotM.
Criteria:
Although the quality of the real ales on offer is important, it is not the sole consideration. We like to give the award to pubs that have also excelled in some other way(s). For example, by increasing the range of ales available or by taking positive steps to increase the pub's popularity, perhaps as a community pub.
