A traditional three roomed town centre wet house, a pub since at least 1815. Purchased from Marston's by Louise in August 2014 and now a Free House. Front bars refurbished Spring 2017 - new seating, lights, carpets. 2 regular beers Marston's Pedigree and Saddle Tank. 1-2 guests - often New Buildings Brewery. Function room and meeting rooms available. Dining room/function room refurbished Spring 2020. Please book for Sunday Carvery. Jazz Club - 3rd Wednesday of the month.
