The Oddfellows, Higham-on-the-Hill: Chris Merriman attended the appeal hearing for the Planning Application on 6th August. Interested third parties present included CAMRA, Oddies Campaign Group, Higham Benefit Society and the Parish Council. The Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Planning were also represented.

The developers Cartwright Homes had seven experts along with a Kings Council Barrister attending. There were 40 members of the public present in the Public Gallery.

The decision from the Planning Inspector is expected by the end of September 2025.
