Advertisement and Listed Building application received by North West Leicester District Council for The Black Horse, Appleby Magna. An historic timber framed 17th Century building well thought of by the local community as it has an ACV on it. Owned by Admiral Taverns, the application shows a continued interest in investment in the pub . This is disputed by the Council's Conservation Officer who considers reference to the building being c. 1600 to be spurious.
