Status of local Admiral Taverns pubs

The Duke of Rutland in Hinckley is currently closed and seeking new management. Admiral Taverns, the pub's owner, has been advertising for new tenants to take over the establishment. This follows a previous reopening in October 2024 under new landlords who introduced real ales and bar food, aiming to create a welcoming local venue .

The pub is also listed for sale as a freehold property, with an asking price of £225,000. The building features a traditional bar area, a pool room, and private accommodation across the upper floors

Located on Lower Bond Street near Hinckley town centre, The Duke of Rutland has historically been a community-focused, wet-led pub, popular among locals and known for hosting pool and darts teams .

The Nag's Head, Stapleton is currently closed, with Admiral Taverns looking for a new tenant on a five year agreement with a £12,000 investment.
