The Rising Sun      The Gate Hangs Well

The planned walk is from Market Bosworth to the Rising Sun, Shackerstone, to Gate Hangs Well, Carlton, returning to pubs in Market Bosworth – 7.6 miles around 3:10 hours walking. Accessible by bus from Hinckley via 148 / 158 to the Red Cow, Leicester Forest East, then change to bus 153 to Market Bosworth.
