On Wednesday 13th April, the Pub of the Year 2022 award was presented to Louise Lavender by local MP Dr Luke Evans and our Chairperson Darren.

The New Plough is a double fronted building dating back to 1901 with wooden settles, and has a traditional town pub ambience.

Louise and husband Darren run a charity pub quiz on the last Thursday of the month and both were congratulated by Dr Evans on raising over £100,000 for a large number of deserving causes.

Previously, the New Plough Inn has been Hinckley and Bosworth CAMRA Pub of the Year 2011, 2012 and Marston's Cask Ale Pub of the Year 2014 (South Region).
