Sadly our member Tony Ashley passed away on 7 August 2021. Tony was a long time branch member attending many meetings and beer festivals. He was regularly seen in the Elbow Room where a commemorative tankard has been displayed.

The Funeral Notice is: Tony ASHLEY passed away at Leicester Royal Infirmary on 7th August 2021, aged 79. Widower of Sheila and lovingly remembered by his son Stephen, daughter Karen, brother, grandchildren and extended family. He lived his life to the fullest, Morris dancing and enjoying real ale. Originally from Bolton, he worked as a radiographer and hospital manager at Walsgrave Hospital. The funeral will take place at Markfield Natural Burial Ground on 3rd September 2021 at 11 a.m.
