Following on from the news published earlier on 20th June, it has been advised that the "Oddies" campaign Group made an offer to Cartwright Homes, to buy the Oddfellows Arms, but this was rejected. Negotiations are now continuing, but housing development is still a possibility as indicated by a leaflet drop suggesting a revised planning application is being prepared.
