Roundup of October's Pub News

Monday 7 October 2019

The New Baron of Hinckley is set to reopen later this month after having been closed since 22nd September. The pub was closed by Wetherspoon's but has now been taken on by Nirad and Payal Solanki who intend to adopt the Wetherspoon concept of high turnover and low prices, where possible.

Nirad also owns the Elmesthorpe Brewery and along with Payal, owns the Dog House bar in Braunstone Gate, Leicester , and The Bulls Head in Stoney Stanton. They also have pubs in Rugby and Gloucestershire and two bars in the Czech Republic.

Two new Elmesthorpe beers have been launched for the opening and all cask ales, including the resident Bass at the New Baron will be £1.99 every Monday.
