And news from neighbouring Leicester CAMRA Branch:-

  • The Real Ale Classroom in Leicester opened a second pub on Station Road in Lutterworth on Saturday 3 June. It is a three roomed pub in a similar style to their first pub with the beers listed on a blackboard and served direct from casks in a cooler behind the bar. They also have a garden and smoking shelter.

  • According to this month’s Leicester Drinker, The Blue Boar will be opening its second pub in June. The Ale Stone will be on Aylestone Road, Aylestone near the Co-op.
